Altos de Chavon Regional Museum of Archaeology Located on the Chavon River, this museum boasts a collection of more than 3,000 artifacts from the native Taino Indians who once inhabited the region. You can find it within Casa de Campo in La Romana. Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
