Dominican Republic Promotes Tourism With Dominican Night In The Mall Of San Juan
San Juan, Puerto Rico – (August 15, 2017). The Ministry of Tourism through its Tourism Promotion Office in Puerto Rico (OPT-PR) held an innovative event to promote the destination, alongside Univision Radio, prestige radio station in island, held at the exclusive The Mall of San Juan, commercial center located in the capital of Puerto Rico.
The OPT-PR filled the Uforia Lounge with music on the terrace which led to hundreds of people dancing to the rhythm of renowned Dominican artist Javish Victoria, who showcased the main Dominican musical rhythms. The tasting of national rums and the aromatic Dominican coffee were other elements that attracted the attention of the public while participating in presentation of the destiny, offered by Lilian Reyes director of OPT-PR and its staff.
Uforia Lounge is one of the favorite venues of great local and international artists to present their new recordings, and for the first time was used for the feature of a tourist destination.
“To be the first tourist destination showcased in The Mall of San Juan is a great commitment that we have accepted with great responsibility. We wanted to bring to the public a different event, full of music and extend to all an invitation to visit the destination and to continue enjoying the lively spirit and the Dominican brotherhood, “said Lilian Reyes Director of OPT-PR.
The Mall of San Juan is the most exclusive shopping center on the island, with the presence of prestigious national and international brands. Since its opening in 2015, it has become one of the most crowded areas by Puerto Rico’s elite.
“This has been a great opportunity to promote our destiny to a very exclusive segment of Puerto Rico. The enthusiasm of Univision Radio and the management of The Mall of San Juan has been extraordinary and we are proud to be able to relate to this two prestigious brands,” concluded Lilian Reyes.
