The Dominican Republic will host the prestigious FIVB World Grand Prix from 8 to June 10, 2012, in Santo Domingo. The Grand Prix is organized by the International Volleyball Federation and as a warm up for the London Olympic Games and will feature 16 teams. The Dominican Republic is ranked 10th in the world.
