UCAPPLATA invites you to the first National Carnival Exhibition in Puerto Plata, with costumes and characters from the carnival of the different provinces. It will be held at the Commerce Club, located on the corner of Beller and José Del Carmen Ariza streets, in front of Plaza Independencia. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The exhibition will be carried out according to the health protocols established by the Dominican Government, maintaining physical distance and with the mandatory use of face masks. The purpose of this exhibition is not to lose the tradition of carnival, which for decades is one of our cultural displays. The activity is dedicated to Luis Rivas, who is the creator of the Ecological Devils of San Cristóbal, costumes made with recycled materials.
