The XI edition of the Dominican Republic Fashion Week (RDFW) will be held from July 23 to 27 at the JW Marriott Santo Domingo hotel, in a different format. The slogan for event is „Fashion for a Purpose.“ This year there will be runway shows with people in wheelchairs, homeless children, seniors, plus-size models and people with disabilities for the inclusion program. The RDFW is also working with the Attorney General Office and there will be a runway show, „For a Second Chance,“ with designs presented by jail inmates. After 10 years, they will continue working hand-in-hand with people and companies that promote the values we have as human beings regardless of ethnicity, social status, physical condition, age, state of vulnerability and all other factors that promote social discrimination.
