The province of María Trinidad Sánchez, located in the northeastern region of the Dominican Republic, is made up of four municipalities: Nagua, El Factor, Cabrera and Río San Juan, with Nagua being its capital. This area stands out for its impressive beaches, such as Arroyo Salado, Playa Grande and Playa Diamante, as well as for its rivers, such as Saltadero and Arroyo Salado, and lagoons such as Gri-Gri, Dudú and Laguna Azul. In addition to its natural attractions, the province has a rich history and culture. The local economy is mainly focused on agriculture, fishing and tourism, the latter being an expanding sector thanks to its natural charms.
