The Delegation of the European Union and the Symphony Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Dominican Republic, present the Caribbean Lyric Festival 2021, an event to stimulate young singers from the Caribbean area with budding lyrical careers and to promote cultural exchange in this region. The Festival will be held on May 9, 2021, coinciding with the celebration of Europe Day. It will feature presentations by eight people from different Caribbean islands, who participated in the contest where they were selected by an international jury made up of renowned lyrical singing experts. The musical program includes a varied selection of the lyrical repertoire. The event is by invitation, but it will be broadcast on various digital platforms, radio, and television.
