Come enjoy on June 1 the traditional Cavalcade of the Butterflies for the nonviolence against women, a classic Hermanas Mirabal province activity, with a route along 12.5 kilometers of history, art and nature, departing from the sports complex of Salcedo. The activity is for the enjoyment of the whole family. It has the participation of 700 horsemen from all over the national territory and the National Army Cavalry, who will travel as a family to the different places of the established route. It has the support of the Ministries of Sports, Tourism and Defense, the Army and other public and private institutions in the country. It includes an exhibition and dressage competition and the modality of “higüeyano step”; lunch and an artistic presentation.
