Navigation Évènement

Considered the most popular folkloric manifestation in the country, La Vega Carnival reaches 125 years of history and we commemorate it with an exhibition of 20 costumes from 16 groups, at different levels of Ágora Mall to ensure social distancing. The exhibition is curated by visual artist Luis Rivas and is organized together with the Unión Carnavalesca Vegana (UCAVE). It will be complemented with a series of talks and the projection of virtual videos through the Ágora Mall social networks, contents that will allow the presentation of an anthology of this popular festival. The activity program includes a virtual tour of the La Vega Carnival Museum. The costumes that will be exhibited belong to the groups Los Broncos, Los Panitas, Los Difuntos, Los pacíficos, Los Misteriosos, Los Hechiceros, Los Peluches, Los Inhumanos, Erupción, Los Zorros, Dragones, Cuervos, Kuranderos, Monaguillos, Inesperados, y los Desterrados.
