The Ministry of Culture and the General Directorate of Museums are celebrating the « Long Night of Museums 2022 » in the Colonial City, Plaza de la Cultura and Greater Santo Domingo, as well as in Santiago, Moca, Hermanas Mirabal, Puerto Plata, Higüey and La Romana with free admission and activities for the whole family in public and private cultural centers.

Activities include concerts, classical ballet, folkloric ballet and flamenco performances, exhibitions, workshops, talks, documentary and short film screenings, children’s story readings, plays, poetry recitals, craft fairs, living statues, guided tours of museums, safe observation of the Sun, live painting, puppets, monologues, performances, Dominican coffee, rum and tobacco tastings and carnival groups, among others.
