Fiesta Sunset Jazz presents a program every Friday at 8:30 p.m. at the Dominican Fiesta Hotel & Casino, with a selection of jazz bands in various formats and styles. On May 3 the saxophonist Carlito Estrada and his quartet will perform, playing well-known standards of jazz, contemporary jazz and Latin. On May 10, Sly de Moya performs with Los Fónicos, playing bossa nova, pop, rock, latin rock, reggae, merengue and bachata. On May 17, DUHO performs with a mix of classical guitar and Afro-Dominican drums, based on our Taino culture and music mixes from Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. On May 24, Joshy and his 4 Jazz will perform to celebrate Mother’s Day, playing jazz, traditional music with folklore rhythms and popular Dominican and Caribbean currents. On May 31, Fernando Madera performs with his acoustic trio, playing jazz, blues, funk, bolero, ballad and latin soul.
