The third edition of the international triathlon « Xterra Samaná » will be held on August 31 and September 1 near Viva Wyndham V Samaná, Cosón Bay and Sublime Samaná hotels. It features the disciplines of Sprint Triathlon, Xterra Triathlon, Xterra Triathlon Relay, Dry Tri Xterra, Trail Run 21K, 10K and 5K, Kids Run, Stand Up Paddle (SUP) and WOD. It will have the participation of local and international athletes who will have the opportunity to qualify for the World Cup in Maui, Hawaii. The event seeks to position the country as a sporting destination and turn it into one of the stops of the most recognized franchise in the world of triathlon. Xterra Samaná has become a special stop, with a valid score for the Pan-American Championship, the most recognized franchise in the world of mountain triathlon.
