In an effort to provide a safer and more efficient experience for passengers, as of November 29, 2020, the Dominican Republic is adopting a new electronic system providing digital versions of the Traveler’s Health Affidavit, Customs Declaration and International Boarding/Disembarking forms, combined in a single digital form. Passengers will need to fill out a form for arrival and another one for departure and the system will generate two QR codes. To save time during the arrival and departure procedure, we recommend filling out the forms 72 hours before the trip, to print or make screenshots of the QR codes and to keep them on hand during arrival and departure. As of January 1, 2021, all passengers entering and departing the country will be required to fill out and submit their digital forms through the Electronic Ticket Portal either before or upon their arrival to the country. What’s found at the end of a waterfall? In Dominican Republic, and at Salto de Elena, it’s typically a turquoise or jade pool that is perfect for a swimming adventure. And it’s usually just a scenic hike away. 😍
