I raffinati porti turistici della Repubblica Dominicana non sono riservati solo ai marinai di passaggio. Le sofisticate strutture di Punta Cana e Cap Cana offrono una ricca varietà di intrattenimenti: raffinati ristoranti sul mare, shopping, pesca, immersioni subacquee, cinema e locali. La marina di Casa de Campo, famosa per i ristoranti e i centri commerciali, offre una vista spettacolare sulla foce del fiume Chavón, nel punto in cui incontra il Mar dei Caraibi. La marina di Ocean World a Puerto Plata ospita un frequentatissimo casinò e spettacoli settimanali di danza, mentre la marina di Puerto Blanco a Luperón è una zona famosa per le autentiche serate dominicane, che si protraggono fino a tarda notte. La marina di Puerto Bahía a Samaná si trova vicino alle attrazioni più famose, come Cayo Levantado e il parco nazionale di Los Haitises.

Punta Cana
Casa de Campo Marina sorge nel punto in cui il fiume Chavón incontra il Mar dei Caraibi. All’interno del porto turistico si trovano numerosi negozi e ristoranti.
Bayahíbe, La Romana
Questo banco di sabbia è circondato da un mare di un blu brillante, mentre la finissima sabbia bianca e le acque poco profonde pullulano di pesci tropicali, per un’esperienza d’immersione e snorkeling a tutti i livelli.
Montecristi, Puerto Plata
La piccola e pittoresca isola di Cayo Levantado si trova a soli cinque chilometri dalla Baia di Samaná e vanta spiagge dalla sabbia di un bianco brillante, circondate dalle palme. Trascorri la giornata nuotando, prendendo il sole, facendo SUP o kayak, senza dimenticare l’allettante offerta di pesce fresco.

Questi isolotti di sabbia corallina offrono un universo subacqueo tutto da esplorare, con una ricca fauna selvatica. Vicino alle rive è possibile osservare cactus, iguane e granchi, mentre sott’acqua foreste sommerse, fondali sabbiosi e grandi pareti rocciose fanno di quest’area una destinazione favolosa per gli amanti dello snorkeling e delle immersioni, diurne e notturne.
Montecristi
Catalina è meta privilegiata per gli sport acquatici, in particolare per le immersioni e lo snorkeling. Alcune aree sono meta di crocieristi, ma l’intera fascia costiera è aperta al pubblico.
La Romana
Le pittoresche spiagge di Saona attraggono da sole più visitatori di tutti gli altri parchi nazionali dominicani messi assieme. Sito protetto, situato all’interno del Parco nazionale di Cotubanamá, l’isola è un vero e proprio paradiso tropicale.

Situato sul lato settentrionale della baia di Samaná, questo porto turistico completamente operativo dispone di tutte le più moderne comodità, dai ristoranti agli hotel, ai quartieri residenziali. Sorseggia un cocktail con vista sugli yacht o rilassati in piscina a Marina Puerto Bahía.

Il complesso Ocean World Marina vanta un’infinita varietà di intrattenimenti diurni e notturni, tra cui casinò e discoteche, un ristorante con un settimanale spettacolo alla scoperta di nuovi talenti e un parco divertimenti acquatico nelle vicinanze.
Cofresí, Puerto Plata
Palmilla è il paradiso caraibico per eccellenza: ospita distese di fine sabbia bianca, un paesaggio incontaminato, palme tropicali e una piscina naturale d’acqua turchese e poco profonda.
