The most important event for trends and fashion in Germany welcomes Dominican Republic with prestige designation
For the first time, the Dominican Republic features as the Exclusive Destination for the 19th consecutive edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, the most important event for fashion in Germany and one of its most prestigious social and media events.
From June 28th to July 1st, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin showcases the Spring/Summer 2017 collections of Europe’s best fashion designers. The Dominican Republic will be present in this event with the slogan: “Dominican Republic Has It All, The Dominican Republic Is In Fashion”.
Thanks to this campaign, the Dominican Republic will be in direct contact with more than 35,000 exclusive guests attending the Fashion Week, using fashion and trends medium to transmit the main attractions of the Dominican Republic; the warmth of its climate and hospitality of its people, its extraordinary nature, fascinating history and immense cultural wealth.
The Dominican Republic has a rounded participation in the event, focusing in areas of image, communication, promotion and public relations of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin. Its brand and image appear in various areas within the venues of the event and promotional videos of Dominican Republic will be integrated into digital screens in the lobby of Erika-Hess Ice Stadium, in me Collectors Room Berlin and in the Official Hotel Waldorf Astoria Berlin.
Moreover, in the lobby of the Fashion Week venue, a promotional space called Dominican Republic Lounge will be featured. This space will include large format images of beautiful places in the Dominican Republic while also insight the broadcast of breathtaking images of the destination. The stand will feature an Interview Wall for interviews with designers, models and celebrities of the event, and will also be available for guests that want to take photos pretending to be in the alluring Dominican Republic.
During their visit to the Dominican Republic Lounge, attendees will receive catalogues, brochures and tourist information about the destination.
The star activity will be a contest to win a luxury trip for two to the Dominican Republic, including a stay for one week in one of the world’s best resorts, the tropical paradise and member of The Leading Hotels of the World, CASA de CAMPO Resort & Villas. This stay features a unique variety of facilities including a hotel with all mod cons, modern and luxurious rooms, a wide Marina, tennis, polo and football, professional golf courses -one of them designed by Pete Dye: Teeth of the Dog, a prestigious American designer. All visitors who take a photo in the Dominican Republic space and publish it on social networks may participate at this contest.
