Mariah Carey is truly living her Fantasy.
The 49-year-old songstress posted a video to social media on Wednesday which gave a stunning look at her rented New Year’s Eve lodgings in the Dominican Republic.
The video began with Mariah luxuriating in her balcony spa – while still wearing her silver dress from the evening before.
Mariah stood in the spa, getting her dress wet, while plowing kisses at and dancing for the camera.
The silent, 20-second-long video, which was filmed with a drone, then pulled back into the sky giving a look at the pop singer’s expansive beach house.
Mariah looked every bit the bombshell as she sported a glittering silver gown while on the balcony of her private villa.
She captioned the spectacular video, ‘Hello 2020! Cheers, toast, bravo to a spectacular new year!!’
Earlier, the megastar singer took to her Instagram to share a cute Instagram Boomerang of herself enjoying the fireworks with eight-year-old twins – Moroccan and Monroe – while celebrating New Year’s in the same silver gown from the later video.
The Fantasy hitmaker was festive as always as she sported a matching silver ‘Happy New Year’ crown.
Mariah’s blonde locks were worn down into waves which flowed over her shoulder as she donned complementary make-up topped off with a swipe of shiny pink lip.
It was definitely a time for celebration as she achieved another groundbreaking feat on the success of her trademark holiday hit, All I Want for Christmas is You.
She became the first-ever performer to score singles that hit the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 list over four decades – the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s.
The song’s number one status for the third consecutive week comes for the week of January 4, 2020, making her the first performer of the decade to lead the chart, Billboard said Monday.
The Grammy-winning singer first released the holiday song in 1994 on her album Merry Christmas, and re-released it this year with an updated video to coincide with its 25th anniversary. With the quarter-century gap, the song’s path to the top spot is the longest in the history of the chart.
It hit the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 for the weeks of December 21 and December 28, and also set holiday streaming records, according to the outlet.
