Close to Boca Chica hotels, the display features memorabilia from the World Baseball Classic won by the Dominican Republic in 2013, as well as bats and balls used in historic baseball moments, donated by Dominican MLB players.
The Estadio Quisqueya is home to the Tigres del Licey (blues) and the Leones del Escogido (reds) with their stadium centrally located on Av. Tiradentes with easy access from most city hotels. The Leones del Escogido won the 2013 championship. The last championship won by the Tigres del Licey was in 2009.
