Nightlife in the Bávaro area is part and parcel of the beach life. Sun and sea by day, party by night. The options are numerous: an underground cave-turned-disco, a unique Coco Bongo Vegas-style show and nightclub, or a quiet wine bar.
Punta Cana buzzes by day on the beach, but at night, the beat goes on. Some of the Dominican Republic’s most modern, uniquely designed nightclubs and live music venues are located here. Dance inside a cave turned disco at Imagine, with multiple chambers echoing with tunes from house music to merengue. For more late nights, Oro Nightclub, inside the Hard Rock Punta Cana, is the dance spot for the young and restless. Nearly every major resort boasts its own nightclub, for those who want to simply walk back to their rooms, in addition to casino entertainment. Live music is on offer as well. For Dominican and Latin sounds, head to Bachata Rosa–a new restaurant and “pop music bar” venue inside Blue Mall Punta Cana, co-owned by multiple Grammy Award-winning Dominican singer Juan Luis Guerra. For a quieter evening out, the Puntacana Resort Club’s Marina is ideal for dockside cocktails beside multimillion-dollar yachts, and Puntacana Village is popular for its wine bar, La Cava.
