Built in 1947 as the first golf course in the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo Country Club was set up by foreign executives who wanted to continue playing golf during their stay on the island. The “Country” is the capital city’s most exclusive club. A private membership course, tee times can be reserved during the weekday mornings. Some hotels have agreements. There are two golf courses: Senior (18 holes) and Los Robles (9 holes).
