“La pasión cantada de Jacobito de Lara” will be presented from May 10 to 12 at the Palace of Fine Arts with functions Friday and Saturday at 8:30 p.m. and Sunday at 6:30 p.m. The play was written from the book “Jacobito” by Ellen Pérez and represents the drama of that historical character, who after having participated as a leading figure in the death of the tyrant Ulises Heureaux (Lilís), at the end of the 19th century, undertakes a short time after the murder of his girlfriend Emilia Michel (Millo), committed by the one who kept prison in the Fort of San Felipe, where he was interviewed shortly before he committed suicide with a firearm that he had for some reason.
