The National Carnival Parade of Santo Domingo 2020 will be dedicated to the Mirabal Sisters province, in special tribute to Dominican women and in commemoration of International Women’s Day. It is organized by the Ministries of Culture and Tourism. This parade is one of the most important traditions of Santo Domingo, where the best troupes of all the provinces of the country and the different sectors of the capital are presented, in a burst of creativity, color and joy. It is a huge party where you can enjoy a great parade of floats and troupes with striking colors to the rhythm of merengue. The outstanding characters Diablos Cojuelos, Los Tiznaos, Califé, La Muerte, Muñecas de Trapo, Muñecas Sin Rostro y Los Monos de Simonico, among others, will participate. There will be a merengue concert at the end of the parade.
