The Dominican Orchid Society (SDO) and the National Botanical Garden invite you to the XLVII Exhibition and the XXXVII Orchid Contest from March 14 to 17. This event aims to investigate, preserve and protect the environment where orchids are found. The island of Hispaniola has about 350 native and endemic species, many of which are under some degree of threat, so actions are encouraged to prevent their extinction. The exhibition will have a sales area with a wide variety of orchids, as well as products related to them. The activity is aimed for families, and will have a diverse food area.
