Com sua paisagem romântica de praias de areia branca sem fim, além de uma infinidade de ofertas de resorts em vários litorais, a República Dominicana é uma escolha popular para viagens de casamento. Os hotéis se destacam na oferta de pacotes e serviços de casamento, incluindo ajuda com certidões de casamento, contratação de planejadores de eventos e fotógrafos, reserva de tratamentos em spa, um bolo de casamento personalizado, bufê, música e arranjos de flores, entre outros detalhes, deixando a noiva e o noivo concentrados em aproveitar a viagem.

Exigências

As fotocópias dos documentos necessários, listados abaixo, podem ser enviadas com antecedência. O casal deve trazer os originais ao chegar no país. Todos os documentos devem ser legalizados e traduzidos para o espanhol por um tradutor oficial.

Casamento Civil

Para a preparação da Certidão de Casamento, envie os seguintes documentos ao Escritório de Registros de Estado Civil antes da cerimônia:

  • Passaporte original com fotocópia da página de identificação e as últimas entradas no país;
  • Depoimentos juramentados do estado civil, atestando que a noiva e o noivo são solteiros;
  • Certidões de nascimento originais;
  • Certidão(ões) de divórcio ou de óbito, se aplicáveis; e
  • Duas ou mais testemunhas, excluindo familiares, com passaportes válidos.

Cerimonia Religiosa

Aqueles que desejarem uma cerimônia religiosa no cenário paradisíaco da República Dominicana podem tornar seu sonho uma realidade. A principal exigência é obter autorização de um arcebispo no país de residência do casal e entregá-la à arquidiocese dominicana local. Os documentos necessários incluem:

  • Certidão Pré-matrimonial;
  • Certidão de Casamento Civil legalizada pelo Consulado da República Dominicana, se o casal já se casou em seu país;
  • Certidões de Batismo;
  • Certidões de Crisma; e
  • Certidão(ões) de Anulação da Igreja, se aplicáveis.

Certidões de nascimento também são necessários, bem como uma Declaração de Estado Civil, geralmente obtida do Consulado Dominicano no país em que os documentos foram emitidos.

Esculpida inteiramente de pedra, a Altos de Chavón, uma vila mediterrânea modelo do século XVI, é um lugar agradável de visitar por sua encantadora atmosfera medieval, incluindo muitas lojas, restaurantes e bares.
La Romana
Localizada na cidade vizinha de Higüey, essa catedral está entre os principais locais religiosos mais importantes da RD. Em homenagem à Virgem de La Altagracia, padroeira dos dominicanos, essa catedral é um destaque por seu alto arco de 69 metros, com entrada de bronze e ouro.
Higüey, Punta Cana
Construída entre 1510 e 1540, a primeira catedral das Américas continua imponente em toda a sua glória sobre o coração da Cidade Colonial. Os restos mortais de Cristóvão Colombo foram encontrados aqui no século XIX.
Santo Domingo
Esta moderna Igreja Católica Romana levou 15 anos para ser construída, sendo concluída em 1992. A catedral é uma das poucas no mundo em que a estátua de Cristo o retrata como já tendo ressuscitado, e não morrendo na cruz.
Constanza, Jarabacoa, La Vega
A impressionante fachada barroca de pedra coral e branca, com desenhos de cerâmica, foi construída no século XVI. O convento foi o lar de 15 frades enviados da Espanha, que também fundaram a primeira universidade das Américas, ao lado.
Santo Domingo
Imitando a Catedral de Notre Dame de Paris, essa histórica igreja católica fica em uma das extremidades da praça da cidade, atraindo visitantes com seu estilo neoclássico-gótico do século XIX, seus impressionantes vitrais e um campanário em torno de um altar de mogno ornamentado.
Montecristi
O maior jardim botânico do Caribe enfeita a capital com mais de 400 acres de reserva natural repletos de árvores nativas da ilha (incluindo várias espécies de palmeiras), flores (incluindo mais de 300 espécies de orquídeas) e pássaros.

Located on the north coast, directly off the highway in Cabrera, this light blond-sand beach is not what you expect: a river flows so near, it gives the sand a soft, spongy texture, while the sea is a mixture of cool and warm water from one end to the other. Starting September 15, there will be a temporary, free travel assistance plan until December 2020 to all tourists visiting a hotel, that in the event of a positive COVID-19 test while in-country, in addition to emergency coverage includes COVID-19 tests and cost coverage for long-term stay. Likewise, effective September 15, travelers will not be asked for any type of test prior to entering the country, nor will massive tests be carried out upon arrival, but rather random quick tests will be performed.
