The Dominican Sailing Federation, with the endorsement of the International Formula Kite Association, will hold for the first time in the Dominican Republic an international Formula Kite event. It will take place in Cabarete, a place that has all the natural conditions of sea and wind that this sport requires, making its waters perfect for the aquatic activity.

More than 20 competitors from Brazil, Colombia, France, Guadeloupe, Italy, Netherlands, Slovenia, Turkey, United States and Dominican Republic will participate. The athletes will be fighting to reach the first places in this sailing discipline, which will make its debut in the 2024 Summer Olympics.
