The Caribbean Series will bring together the winter league champions of Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Mexico, guest countries Panama and Colombia, and the host Dominican Republic. The schedule features fifteen games in the preliminary round, five for each team, and another three games in the semifinal and final phases for a total of eighteen games.
