Dominican Economy Reflects Quick Recovery | The governor of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, Héctor Valdez Albizu, affirmed that the Dominican Republic will quickly recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, faster than any other country in the region. In an effort to provide a safer and more efficient experience for passengers, as of November 29, 2020, the Dominican Republic is adopting a new electronic system providing digital versions of the Traveler’s Health Affidavit, Customs Declaration and International Boarding/Disembarking forms, combined in a single digital form. Passengers will need to fill out a form for arrival and another one for departure and the system will generate two QR codes. To save time during the arrival and departure procedure, we recommend filling out the forms 72 hours before the trip, to print or make screenshots of the QR codes and to keep them on hand during arrival and departure. As of January 1, 2021, all passengers entering and departing the country will be required to fill out and submit their digital forms through the Electronic Ticket Portal, link in bio, either before or upon their arrival to the country. All visits to Santiago include an obligatory stop at El Monumento, the city’s iconic white marble tower, circled on all sides by a multilevel garden and boasting panoramic views over the entire city. On the fifth floor is the ultimate reward: a grand panoramic view of the city of Santiago from a wraparound balcony, with the Cordillera Central mountain range in the distance. 📸:@flycamrd

What’s found at the end of a waterfall? In Dominican Republic, and at Salto de Elena, it’s typically a turquoise or jade pool that is perfect for a swimming adventure. And it’s usually just a scenic hike away. 😍
