The Divina Pastora parish is one of the most picturesque temples in eastern Dominican Republic thanks to its privileged location facing the Caribbean Sea. Consecrated in 1925, its structure was built entirely of wood brought from Florida, which gives it a unique architectural character within the national panorama. Inside, a valuable painting of the Virgin is preserved under the invocation “Divina Pastora”, dated 1954, considered one of its main spiritual and cultural treasures.
