Museo Casa Fuerte Juan Ponce de León

The Casa Fuerte Juan Ponce de León Museum is a historic and cultural site located in San Rafael del Yuma, La Altagracia Province, in eastern Dominican Republic. It is a colonial structure built around 1505 by Spanish conquistador Juan Ponce de León, who was appointed Lieutenant Governor of the province of Higüey and lived there with his family for several years.
