About
An iconic 16th-century building located in the Colonial City of Santo Domingo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to the Museo Centro Cultural Taíno Casa del Cordón. Inside, visitors can explore the pre-Hispanic archaeological collection "Our First Inhabitants," on loan from the García Arévalo Foundation, which brings together valuable Taíno artifacts. This permanent exhibition offers a window into the roots of the island's earliest inhabitants while highlighting the colonial architectural significance of the building itself.
